Hi! I'm Aubrey
Founder & CEO of Pacifica, actress, content creator, and investor, living in Dogpatch, San Francisco. Previously in product management (Snapchat, Visa) and venture capital (Audacious).
I grew up in Shanghai, where karate was my first teacher. I started at 4 (see pic lol), and by 14 I was regularly thrown into adult heavyweight divisions as a lightweight teenager...Terrified, but still won 🤓
I also had the privilege of watching an entrepreneur go from 0 to 1. My dad was born in one of the poorest regions of China, with barely enough food or clothes, in a place where famine still took the people around him. But today, he exports exactly those to some of the most famous brands in the world, all while raising two kids and sending us to the US for school. As the older child, I had a front-row seat to every up and down.
Whenever I'm in doubt, I look back at my karate journey, and at my family's: from planting rice to leading a multinational company, from the mountains, to where we are today.

Acting
I spent my entire childhood and teenage years in theatres and have developed a deep love for acting — fully living in other people's lives & perspectives, experiencing their truthful emotions, and channeling the energy out is a true therapy of mine.
While working as a PM at Snap, I completed the two-year intensive at Meisner Technique Studio, taught by the last teaching protégé of Sanford Meisner. Since then I've been a working actor who is serious about every role she gets. If you look closely enough, you'll find me in a Netflix film 🎬 :D I am also active in the local indie film collective, so if you love to collab and make cool arts together, let me know!
